You are going to be such a beautiful middle-age freak

This quote, from a 2024 Tumblr post, really speaks to me as a nonbinary person often seen as a freak. I came out as queer when I was 12. I started transitioning in my late teens and felt like a trans elder by 25. Staring down the barrel of 40, I want you young freaks to know you belong, and that we can build a world for us together. We need to care for one another, fight hard, and get queerer than they ever feared possible.

White paper
Printed on on Fabriano paper with hand-mixed Cranfield relief inks in a metallic purple shine invoking movement, like the movement across genders.

Colored paper
The ink is a hand-mixed dark blue Safewash ink on secondhand scrapbook paper. The paper reminds me of the wallpaper into which I have often dreamed of vanishing.

The quote poster has a very Tumblr name :) I checked with them and they say they release it into the world without attribution needed.
